Der + Associates Architecture Ltd is an Edmonton based boutique architecture firm. Since it's inception in 1983, the firm has been serving Edmonton, Red Deer & Calgary in Alberta and its neighbouring provinces.
The firm's strategy can be summarized in two simple terms:

The firm's prime focus is to help the client achieve their goals.
We listen to our clients, interpret and share ideas during a visioning session and arrive at a goal statement. The goal statement then becomes the underlying concept that drives every design sketch on the project. This process is followed in tandem with periodic client interactions until an ideal design solution is found.
2. Appropriate Planning & Design:
We pride ourselves in molding our design to suit a particular site's parameters and needs of the context. We consciously steer away from typical / current design trends and we strive to create 'timeless architecture' that stands the test of time.
Sustainability is an inherent part of all of our designs. We encourage the idea of green living and extend our support to all sustainable ideologies including low-carbon foot-print, natural light and ventilation, local materials, energy efficient systems.
